When we in the west think of Africa most of us conjure up images of small vilages, famine, starving children, bushmen with loin clothes brandishing spears who know nothing of lightbulbs and indoor plumbing. These images are a far cry from the rich urban centers that can be found in Africa. Nevertheless Africa is known more for its natural beauty than its great metropolitan centers.
